Perry Como and The Fontane Sisters record their version of “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” for RCA Victor Records on 7 November 1949.
The song, written in 1948 by Al Hoffman, Mack David, and Jerry Livingston, will be introduced in the 1950 film Cinderella (and sung by actress Verna Felton).
Como’s version will become popular, reaching #14 on the Billboard chart, with the flip side being “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” (also written for Cinderella).
